program for high school JUNIORS AND SENIORS ONLY

The SUMMER PAID-INTERNSHIP PROGRAM is a structured and supervised work experience opportunity designed for high school Juniors and Seniors or those that are 16 years old at time of interview. The program provides candidates, commonly known as interns, with hands-on experience in a specific field or industry. Not only does the program offer opportunity for paid hands-on experience with a local business, but it also offers academic credit depending on the organization and institution of higher education.

application opens march 2026: candidate eligibility requirements:

  • COLLIN COUNTY RESIDENT
  • HS JUNIOR, SENIOR OR RECENT GRADUATE (must be 16 years old)
  • RECOMMENDED BY AN EDUCATOR, COMMUNITY LEADERS, ETC.

aeylway career: lifelaunch program

program for YOUNG ADULTS ages 16-24 ONLY

The AEYLWAY Career: LifeLaunch Training Program prepares eligible participants for sustainable employment through career readiness instruction and apprenticeship placement. An 8-week cohort builds employability and industry skills, followed by paid On-the-Job Training or Apprenticeship opportunities. Developed with employers and workforce partners, the program aligns with Texas Workforce Solutions / Commission objectives to support skill development, employment, and career advancement in high-demand fields.
